Oh the irony of money… we worry whether having too little or too much and–don’t kid yourself–when loved it is the root of all evil.

I do find it interesting that money is a frequent point of conversation. The form of such conversation is more indirect–what was given to people as a gift, what they bought, or what they are about to purchase.

Frequently the proverbial price tag is slipped into the discussion to ensure that their “richness” is conveyed. Money appears to be a security blanket, a right-of-brag, and a source of power.

But with the flip of a coin, money can disappear like the clouds or a bolt of lightning.

And so knowing that… how much weight should money really carry?

For the Dose, money has relative value. Money is a necessity to live, as there’s no free room and board. But it’s not the “be-all, end-all.”

Like people, it comes with virtual baggage and the need to be watched over. When we have less than needed (or should I say wanted?), money becomes our problem child – a source of worry or cause for despair.

Money – not good to love it, no option to leave it. That said… it’s true value in life is up to you!
