Practice Random Acts of… Manners!

We’ve all heard the advice to “Practice Random Acts of Kindness.” Such acts may include paying the toll for the car behind you, putting extra coins in an expired parking meter, or allowing someone else get the best parking space.

All this is great, and some people may do these things when in the mood, but the Dose has a simpler way of practicing random acts of kindness…practice good manners.

The Dose could create the list of necessary manners, but there is one that needs to be incorporated back into practice immediately – covering ones mouth when yawning! The inside of a person’s mouth is not what I want to be looking at when in a conversation. (And why are they yawning when conversing with the Dose anyway?! I’ll have to investigate that.) My niece claims that perhaps the person is so tired that they can’t even fathom lifting their hand up to cover their mouth! Talk about excuses!!

Start looking around… do you see what I see? If there is behavior you don’t like, ensure to “reverse the curse” by not following suit… now that’s practicing an act of kindness!
