In the Chinese calendar, this year, 2012, is the year of the Dragon. Naming the year… interesting concept and possibly a model for us individuals.
Whether one makes resolutions or creates yearly personal goals, a new year provides us the setting to recreate, improve, or advance our lives. An artist wouldn’t ignore a blank canvas… why would we consider overlooking our possibilities in the new year?
For the Dose, 2012 will be the year of Opportunity.
No typical resolutions… only actions and personal goals that will fulfill this prophecy! I need timelines and targets to achieve my desires. What could that look like? Participating in new activities, learning and honing skills and, most importantly, planning with purpose and aiming with intent.
Why would I want to look back on these next 12 months with “nothing” to experience, show, or converse about? Though I’m no psychic, the Dose can aspire to what I truly want to happen in this coming year and so can you.
