The Heart Beat of Life

Name a song about love and you’ll find many love-related associations. Here’s a sampling:

Love will keep us together.

Love hurts.

Love is what the world needs now.

Love is a drug.

Love is all we need.

Love… an emotion we tie to the heart… and that’s no accident. The heart is a vital organ – pumping “life” though our bodies to keep us alive. Love makes life; Love sustains life.

As there are many types of love relationships – love between family members, friends, and significant others & spouses – so are there many expressions of love. A love relationship is unique between two people and for the most part non-reproducible.

During a New Year’s celebration, the partiers – Dose included – were to toast, champagne in hand, our “wish” for others. My wish: for all to know love… the love of a soul mate… the special someone who you just can’t live without.

That New Year’s celebration was the year my Paul passed away… now five years ago. It was Paul who chiseled the cement covering my heart, showed me the love of a mate, and unknowingly got me ready for what is to come in the future.

Got Love? You do have it all!
