Doc. Grumpy. Happy. Sleepy. Bashful. Sneezy. Dopey.
These names reflect their person… what they are seen as or for. All but Doc, as he was known to mix up words. Guess they didn’t think Mix-up was a good name for this fellow.
I really do like the story of Snow White, and as a child the Dose wanted to be her – pretty, sweet, and surrounded by helpful male friends. Unfortunately, I wasn’t seen to be anything like her, as my Dad was the only male in the house and my being was one of a grumpy little girl. Hence the Grumpy yellow plastic mug given to me as a Christmas gift by a family member!
Grumpiness is exhausting. It has the “power” to suck energy, sink spirits, and sabotage good thoughts. Ask me how I know!
As a child I struggled to address this demeanor of mine. Yet over the years I’ve noted that conduct and behaviors reflect one’s attitude. There’s a beautiful saying quoted by Chuck Swindoll – Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
Fast forward to “today”… with attitude adjustments, that mug is long gone and Happy, with a bit of Sleepy, has entered my spirit!
Choose your mug with intention, knowing attitude is all up to you!

At times a change of attitude is needed in one’s life .What a difference it makes to the person and to these around you.
Jean – thank you for your insight. I totally agree!
