Blue and White
Red and Green
Silver and Gold
These colors can all represent one thing – December! Yes, this is the month that is bright with color and shine from all the glitter and lights.
Interesting that during this one month a metamorphosis occurs. Think about it:
- our hearts are open to give to those without
- people are intent on visiting family and friends, seemingly trying to get along better than at any other time of the year
- spirits tend to be lifted as we reflect on the season
As a society we appear to be more generous with goods and time. We think more about those without. Everyone seems to be united.
Though the religious holidays ignite these colors, celebrations, and traditions, need their essence end after December? When celebrating the meaning of the season – whatever it is for you – consider a yearlong after-party. There will always be people in need, family and friends who want your company, and spirits, like mine, that need a lift… all year round.
This is a wonderful time of the year; it need not end. May the spirit be with you – always!
Happy Holidays!
