A Story Worth Telling 

We all – or most – appreciate ordering online, as the ease and convenience is gold! 

And though the Dose partakes on occasion, there is one time I typically do NOT. That would be when I’m traveling! 

This lesson was learned years ago when I was in Tucson, AZ. There was a lovely shop that sold tote bags made from the leather of cowboy boots. I just had to have one… but purchase it there and tote the tote back home?  No. Back then I determined the most convenient way was to purchase online. 

Returning back home, I clicked on the artist’s website. And there were the tote bag purchasing directions: “Our products are only sold through shop owners.” What?! 

Consequently, I reconnected with the Tucson shop to orchestrate the transaction. Of course, they were more than willing to provide me with photos of the different totes for me to make my selection. The back-and-forth was certainly appreciated… and makes for a good life lesson! 

In this day and age, shipping from different parts of the world has been made more accessible… but so does leaving space in a suitcase! 

Unique items tend to come with a good story… go buy the story!
