Do unto you

It doesn’t need to be a summer day for the Dose to get lazy… that can happen in a blink of an eye–at any time and during any season.

One season of laziness was back in the late ‘80s, when my bathroom ceiling was in dire need of repair, yet I was in no mood to seek out a plasterer and deal with the mess. So I lived with the substantial and significant cracks. The Dose never really looked up at the ceiling… would anyone else?

Well, yes… that “anyone else” was the potential buyer of that dwelling in 1993. So with an offer to purchase my “for sale” house, enter Master Plaster! The work involved to replace my broken ceiling was quick, clean, and perfect.  During the process all I could think of was “Why didn’t I do this earlier?” The new owner got herself a new bathroom ceiling and yet I, for years, lived with…  Well, you know the end of that thought.

If we are to treat others as we would treat ourselves, then we should treat ourselves like we treat others. Do unto you!
