What a bad day I had today. I should have known that it was going to be such a day when I overslept, had a flat tire driving into work, and my computer crashed while crafting an important document.

It’s easy to read this memo and start figuring out solutions around alarm clocks, tire pressures, and hard drives… most of us are helpful, helping people wanting to lend a helping hand. Nothing wrong with that. Or is there?
The point of complaining venting is to release tension, calm the spirit, and renew the soul. Some days the Dose just needs to rant. I’m not always looking for a solution.
Just think if this memo had been sent to “Answer Man.” The steam vented out would have only found its way back to suffocate the innocent! Venting is a one-way action that should never boomerang back in any form or shape.
On the receiving end of a venting session? Turn on the hearing aid and listen up!
