Try a day without time – no schedule, no clocks, no watches, and no looking at the cell phone display. Can you do it? The Dose can’t… she’s got things to do, people to meet, and places to go. That’s the power of time. Accept it.
In some funny way, time has a hold on me and yet the Dose can’t seem to get a hold of time. That’s the power of time. Honor it.
Time ticks faster when we are enjoying the good times, yet time appears to slow down when we are living through a valley experience. That’s the power of time. Deal with it.
Four years ago my sweetheart Paul died unexpectedly. Four years ago the pain was so great that a day without tears was unthinkable. The loss was so tremendous that a sense of peace was inconceivable. Grieving was so exhausting that strength for a new day was unavailable.
And now, four years later this wound of loss has healed over with a beautiful memory of my time with Paul. That’s the power of time. Appreciate it.
Time – a friend and a foe yet all for the good to those who respect it.
