Whenever I hear about a person dying or of a death, the Dose ponders the question “What would that person do differently if they could relive their life?”
If the person were a workaholic – would they have wished they relaxed and vacationed more? If the person died alone – would they have wished they connected more to society and people? If the person had a large family – would they have wished they did more (or possibly less) for each member?
Of course I would never know the answer to these questions but it leads me to think – what can I learn from this person’s life and now their death?
On the day after Steve Jobs’ death – the Dose is remembering to live out my passion. Fortunate for most of us, Mr. Jobs exercised his passion. This is what I hope for for the Dose.
We’ve all heard that life is short – the question is, knowing that, what are you going to do differently? If you know that answer – time is ticking – wait no longer!
